Chapter Philanthropy

The sisters of Phi Mu consider charity and service of the utmost importance. Throughout the course of the year, our sisters dedicate time and effort to help enrich the lives of others through fundraising and community services. Since 1986, Phi Mu has raised over 6.5 million dollars to benefit our national philanthropy, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. This past year our chapter raised over $85,000 with our annual Dance Marathon, an event which extends throughout the Tech community and incorporates fun with service.

Beyond events that benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, our chapter participates in various other philanthropic projects: Team Buzz, Tech Beautification Day, Atlanta Mission, Festival of Trees, Techwood Tutorial Project, and Hands on Atlanta Day. We also sell coffee every Friday and the funds go to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta or whatever cause may need support!
